Mothers with CM experiences exhibit an increased risk of also exposing their own children to CM. However, many mothers with CM experiences did not pass on their experiences to their own children. Investigating this transgenerational effect of CM and identifying risk and protective factors of transgenerational CM are the main aims of our study (TransGen). Since 2013 158 mother-child dyads have been accompanied since the child's birth, investigating different psychological (psychological well-being, perceived stress, child development, mother-child-attachment styles,...) and biological parameters (cortisol, pH-value of saliva, heartrate and blood pressure, ...) in an attempt to investigate risk and protective factors in the context of transgenerational CM. All in all 6 measurement time points have been conducted thus far.","title_pi":"Prof. Dr.","given_name_pi":"Ute","family_name_pi":"Ziegenhain","further_pi":"Prof. Dr. med.
