Ongoing: Panel study with biannual survey waves
The Working Time Survey of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) is designed as a panel study to investigate long-term changes in the world of work. The first survey wave took place in 2015. Since then it has been conducted biannually. To collect data computer-assisted telephone interviews are conducted. The population is made up of persons in employment in Germany who are at least 15 years old and work at least 10 hours a week on a regular basis. The datasets each contain data on the following subject areas: Main employment and, if applicable, additional employment Characteristics of the employment relationship and the company Working-time arrangements, including flexibility and working-time variability Psychological and physical demands Well-being and satisfaction Socio-demographic information on the respondents
