Description

KiBS studies the need for and the uptake of early child education and care in Germany. A national representative sample of about 33.000 parents of children from birth to the age of 11 years is surveyed annually. Reporting topics include inequality of child care use, unfulfilled needs for child care, untypical child care arrangements, work-family conflicts, preferred formats and content of child care as well as reasons for not using child care.
